  • We suggest parking on the meters located on either Monroe Avenue or Trowbridge Avenue. The meters are $1.25/hour and free after 6:00PM. If you’re short on change, download the MOTU app on your smart phone to pay with a credit card.

  • If you have to cancel your appointment, we appreciate as much notice as possible so we can try and fill your spot. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, for the first time there will be a $25 cancellation fee due at your next appointment and a charge of half of the service cost the second time. If you no-call-no-show your appointment, half the cost of the appointment will be due before you’re able to book your next appointment. As our stylists are chair renters, they are able to make their own cancellation policies as they see fit. Please talk to your stylist or the front desk if you have questions about their policy!

  • We offer text and email reminders. Our front desk will be happy to customize your reminder preferences.

  • Most of our stylists book out about 4 to 8 weeks in advance for a daytime appointment, and sometimes even longer for an evening appointment. We recommend scheduling at least one appointment in advance. We do keep a cancellation list that we pay very close attention to and we’d be happy to put you on our list.

  • Products purchased within the last 30 days may be exchanged for another product or for salon credit. Salon credit is not valid for services.

  • We carry HairTalk tape-in extensions. We’ve worked with other types of extensions in the past, and believe these are the safest, healthiest extensions for your hair. New extension clients must book a consultation appointment first so we can match your hair color and get your extensions ordered. Prices vary greatly depending on the length of hair you wish to have but we’re able to give you an exact quote during your consultation. If you’d like to know more, give us a call.

  • We have stylists that offer bridal services as their own business entity outside of the salon. If you're interested in having them provide services for your wedding, please send Madeleine an email at brindleandblonde@gmail.com with your wedding date, party size, and location, and she will forward the information to see who might be available.

  • Yes! We allow well-behaved kids to accompany you to your appointment.
